(b) Analyse how the right to education has ensured “free and compulsory education” for the children aged between 6 to 14 years.
Ans- The Constitution Amendment Bill of November 2001 has passed education as a
‘Fundamental Right’ to provide compulsory education to children from 6 to 14 years. This is undoubtedly a plausible step taken by the government. Children of 6 to 14 years who cannot get education can only be from poor families, otherwise which capable family would not want to teach their children. The question arises whether a poor family can fight before the High ourt
or tee to prote ct Court or Human Rights Rights Committee to protect this fundamental right. Government cannot escape its responsibilities by making education a fundamental right. His
own education system is practically so helpless that under which it is difficult to achieve the goal of education. Where there are schools, there are no teachers and where there is no school building. The provision of blackboard, furniture, buildings, drinking water, toilets, etc. in
primary schools is in a very serious condition. The enrollment of children in corporations and other government schools in metros is becoming increasingly difficult. In such a situation, achieving the goal of primary education is not easy.

Ans- (i) We surveyed 20 families and also found that the condition of women in many families is not correct. It was seen in 13 families that women also work outside the home and work at home and take care of the house. Even after doing so much, women do not have a special place in the family. To improve the present situation, the level of education should be promoted so that people respect women.
(ii) As surveyed 20 families and it was also seen in the survey that due to women, the economic condition of the family is improving. Budgeting of expenses in household, shopping, proper use of goods and services are very good for these women. Because of this the family’s financial position is strong.
(iii) The survey of 20 families has also seen that some families also have gender discrimination. The place of men in families is still considered high. Women have a very special contribution in their families. But still women have been considered at a low level. It is very important to eradicate gender discrimination.
